Después de la Tormenta

Hurricane Maria first touched the island just a few miles east of this spot in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. This painting, created with soft pastels captures El Faro de Punta Tuna the afternoon the storm passed.  Only the day before, the buildings which were built in 1892 were barely visible through the lush greenery and palm trees.
